Quark buns

I made these quark buns because I wanted to try to come up with something new. They ended up tasting really good!

First I did the basic buns and let the dough double in size.

(about 30 buns)

The quark filling:

2 eggs (+ 1 to spread on the buns)
250g fat-free quark
60g Smetana (or sour cream)
2dl sugar
2dl cream
1 tsp vanilla sugar

1. Do the basic buns and let the dough double in size.

2. Roll small dough balls between your hands and let them double in size on a baking tray.

3. Mix all the filling's ingredients together with a blender.

4. Push some holes to the bun balls e.g. with a glass to create a "nest" for the filling.

5. Heat the oven to 190'C.

6. Fill the holes with the filling.

7. Spread some egg on the buns with a brush.

8. Sprinkle some sugar on the buns.

9. Bake the buns in the oven for 10-15min until they are golden brown.
